Rev. Moose (Managing Partner/Co-Founder) is at the forefront of creating access to the North American market for artists and organizations from around the world. While at the helm of CMJ, Moose built groundbreaking US development programs for New Zealand and Australia export initiatives.  This work naturally led to him co-managing a roster of international artists as part of The Underground Management. Moose’s work growing global talent continued as he helped run the entertainment marketing agency The Syndicate, building its radio, publicity and marketing services out for clients from around the world.

Kodi McKinney (Partner/Co-Founder) has years of experience developing talent in the music industry. He has played an instrumental role in spearheading media campaigns within the US for domestic and international acts. From starting at The Syndicate in 2011, Kodi ultimately rose to oversee the company's metal marketing department including radio promotion, publicity, online properties and special events. Prior to that, he was on the editorial staff at CMJ while managing its nationwide network of college radio stations.

Matthew Field (Partner/Co-Founder) has a broad understanding of the business and legal issues affecting the creative industry. His background is in fostering a collaborative, entrepreneurial approach to new projects. Matthew has previously worked in private practice advising early-stage companies, investors, and entertainment professionals on legal matters affecting their businesses. In addition to his duties at Marauder, Matthew is licensed to practice law in New York and works with a boutique business, entertainment, and intellectual property law firm.

Cecilie Nielsen (Director of Special Projects) manages all aspects of Marauder's special engagements from early conceptualization to on-site production. Cecilie's work in music events started when she launched a live music non-profit at the age of 17. She went on to DJ in Copenhagen's alternative club scene while working at one of Europe’s most prominent music venues. Her career as an independent artist has seen Cecilie on national television, commercial radio, and major tours in her home country of Denmark. She came to New York City in 2016 where she went on to secure her Masters in Music Business from NYU.

Leslie Hermelin (Director of Communications) brings 18 years of experience and an extensive background working with record labels, artists, music business, and lifestyle brands to Marauder. Prior to her work as an independent publicist Hermelin served as head of publicity for Astralwerks Records under Capitol Music Group and Mute Records North America. She has worked with artists including Halsey, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Knife, Moby, Madeon, Porter Robinson, and Motley Crüe and with organizations including the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA), New York Independent Venue Association (NYIVA), Jägermeister, Brompton Bicycles, and more.


Evan Mester (Marketing Specialist) draws on years of experience in digital marketing and radio promotion, allowing him to develop a multifaceted approach to leading Marauder’s marketing campaigns. While attending Muhlenberg College, he served as the music director of WMUH before graduating with his BA in Media and Communications. This led to him assisting promotion and marketing departments at Terrorbird Media and legendary live venue le poisson rouge. Around this same time, Evan found himself becoming deeply invested in the local NYC music scene, eventually going on to write and manage web content for Yer Scene, a publication that aims to bring local DIY music subcultures to global attention. 

Will Sacks (Events Specialist) is an event producer and content creator with distinct expertise in independent live music. After graduating from Skidmore College with a dual degree in Jazz Performance and English, Will relocated to New York City where he found his footing as a musician. Will’s initiative as an independent bandleader led him to talent buying, marketing, operations, and accounting roles at Pianos, City Winery, and National Sawdust. Will received his Masters in Music Business from NYU with academic honors for his thesis on the future of augmented reality in live music venue.


Carson Vickrey (Marketing Specialist) comes from a digital marketing and project management background, both in and out of the music industry, which allows for a broad perspective on coordination and implementation of Marauder’s campaigns. Carson received an undergraduate degree in International Business from University of South Carolina and completed a Master’s degree from New York University’s Music Business program. While at NYU she worked with artist management companies LoyalT and Ten Atoms in day-to-day management and marketing, and completed a thesis on policy supporting music festivals and cities. 

Bobby Nicholas III (Marketing Specialist) found himself enamored by the music industry during his time as the Student Creative Director at WERS 88.9FM while attending Emerson College in Boston. After graduating with a BA in Visual Media Arts, Bobby moved to New York to further his career, where he contracted for various Marauder projects while working freelance. As a photographer, Bobby can often be found in the photo pit at various shows in New York.
